We have been asked to create a short film based on a genre of our choice. Within this we must display relevant knowledge of camera angles, mise-un-scene, location, props and general elements of video and film.
We have met up and discussed our ideas regarding our five minute short film. Our ideas have been summarised below:
Genre- Horror- We have chosen to do horror as it was a genre which all members of the group were particularly interested in. We also thought this would be easier to construct in comparison to comedy or sci-fi which we also considered as options.
Storyline- We have come up with a brief storyline which we may need to alter. We have arranged for further meeting later on this week in which we will draw up a story board and begin writing the script.
Our Story is based on a group of teenagers who are assigned a project to create a short film.
This idea derived from our own circumstances in which we elt it would be easier to recreate this into a film.
